Calling all Laurus College Students!
Each Spring, our students have the opportunity to participate in our Reading Tutor Program. This is a great way to get involved with other students and with kids in our local communities! In this PAID position, you will work closely with Student Services in the capacity of a “Reading Tutor.” We will host activities with local organizations where you have the opportunity to interact, read, and participate in projects with school-aged children.
The goal of the Reading Program is to instill a lifelong love of reading in the students we work with!
Some details about the program:
Program will run 4/16-6/22
This is a paid position $15/hr
15-20 hrs/week
Qualifications to be considered for the program:
Must be in good academic standing
Must be up to date with Financial Aid
Have flexible work hours
Be positive and energetic
Must be able to travel to tutoring site
